We provide complete conservation treatment of works of art on paper in our studio as well as on-site, including large and small format works ranging in period and style from ancient to contemporary. Our treatments are individually designed upon the thorough examination of the work of art and consultation with the custodian. Each project is documented with a written report and high resolution digital photography.

 

Studio TKM Associates, Inc. strives to achieve the highest treatment standards and strictly adheres to the Code of Ethics of the American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works (AIC). To the greatest extent possible, our treatments preserve the original materials and surfaces of the artwork while restoring the intended appearance. We practice minimal intervention in order to preserve conditions that reflect an object’s history, while employing conservation materials of the highest quality and of proven longevity. New materials are likewise, isolated from the original materials and reversible in a manner that is non-destructive to the original material.

Studio TKM Associates, Inc. is located in the Boston Metro Area with ample parking and easy access from Rt. 93, Mass Pike & Storrow Drive. Our studio is protected by armed response burglary protection as well as fire protection. Studio TKM Associates, Inc. is fully insured with additional fine art insurance coverage provided by Huntington Block.
